Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver precise radiographic examinations across all body parts for accurate diagnostic interpretation
Apply professional judgment while upholding strict radiation protection principles
Perform diagnostic medical radiography in the department and beyond
Maintain comprehensive patient records and departmental quality assurance
Pursue ongoing education to stay at the forefront of imaging technology
Assist with patient transfers and rotate shifts seamlessly
Master CT and interventional procedures including venipuncture and sterile technique
Adapt protocols for diverse patient ages from newborns to geriatrics

Qualifications

Current ARRT in Radiography certification
Clinical Competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years
Able to perform all diagnostic exams in assigned modality
Tech II: ARRT certified in two modalities or ARDMS categories
Tech III: ARRT certified in three modalities
Tech IV: ARRT certified in four modalities

Education

Current ARRT in Radiography

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in radiographic examination and diagnostic medical radiography
Proficiency in CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine
Skills in venipuncture, sterile technique, and invasive procedures
Competence in tele-radiology transmission and automatic injectors
Knowledge of contrast contraindications and age-specific protocols
