Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver expert nursing care for patients of all ages
Make independent clinical decisions with full accountability
Supervise CNA/Tech staff and ensure patient safety
Respond calmly to emergencies with sound judgment
Develop care plans and maintain infection control standards
Collaborate with teams to uphold patient rights and dignity
Manage medications, supplies, and documentation with precision

Qualifications

Current unrestricted RN license in Alaska or multi-state with application pending
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or obtain within 6 months)
TNCC certification preferred for ED nurses
Clinical Competency within 3 months and High Risk Competency annually

Education

Graduate of accredited nursing program (BSN, ADN, or Diploma)
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Nursing and medical practices
Patient safety and emergency response
Delegation and supervision of staff
Infection control and care planning
