Roles & Responsibilities

Partner with clinical leaders to establish standardized competencies and support policy standards
Develop and implement evidence-based curriculum for nursing and CNA training
Collaborate on preceptorships and student clinical experiences
Standardize and streamline the clinical competency program
Promote the Seven Standards of Excellence across the team
Lead professional development activities to boost patient outcomes and staff retention
Evaluate educational programs for safety, effectiveness, and cost-efficiency

Qualifications

Current full, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska or other U.S. state
BLS for providers required
BLS instructor certification preferred or obtained within 1 year
Clinical Competency required within 3 months of hire

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a BSN

Knowledge & Skills

Professional nursing principles and LTC patient care
Curriculum development and adult learner education
Evidence-based training modalities
Tools like TEAMS, Workday, Canva, Articulate, Smartsheet, SharePoint, PowerPoint
High-quality communication and collaboration skills
