Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams across all body parts for accurate interpretation
Deliver compassionate patient care tailored to all age groups from newborn to geriatric
Maintain detailed patient records and ensure departmental quality assurance
Pursue ongoing education and assist with invasive ultrasound procedures
Collaborate with physicians and rotate shifts to support team needs
Uphold cleanliness and equipment care in a dynamic healthcare environment

Qualifications

Current ARDMS certification in at least one modality (ABD, OB/GYN, RVT, RDCS)
Experience performing diagnostic exams in assigned ultrasound modalities
Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
Ability to work with diverse cultural and religious backgrounds

Education

Current ARDMS certification (higher levels for Tech II-IV with multiple modalities)
Pursue continuing education for RDMS requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in general, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound
Strong professional judgment in sonographic procedures
Patient assessment across the life span
Quality assurance and compliance adherence
Stress management and adaptability to other imaging modalities
