Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Independently administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and injections with precision and care
Access port-a-caths, PICCs, and Hickman catheters while performing venipuncture and dressings
Deliver exceptional clinical care to oncology patients, maintaining meticulous records of treatments and responses
Monitor IV therapies closely and respond swiftly to any unusual occurrences
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatments, side effects, and lifestyle adjustments
Verify informed consent and handle hazardous drugs safely using proper PPE
Champion a safe environment while mastering Epic EMR for seamless documentation

Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing
Experience in chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing
Proficiency with Epic EMR
BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in handling port-a-caths, PICCs, and Hickman catheters
Strong venipuncture and lab draw skills via central lines
Knowledge of hazardous drug protocols and PPE usage
Patient education on oncology treatments and disease management
