Location: Garrison, North Dakota

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse leading a dedicated care team
Administer medications safely and compassionately to residents
Provide expert wound care that promotes healing and comfort
Build meaningful relationships with long-term care residents and families
Coordinate with physicians by phone for seamless after-hours support

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
Prior long-term care experience preferred
Strong assessment and medication administration skills

Knowledge & Skills

Heart disease, diabetes, and dementia patient care
Wound care and medication passing expertise
Comfort working independently as charge nurse
Matrix EMR documentation proficiency
