Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a dynamic LDRP setting
Monitor and interpret fetal heart strips with precision and confidence
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to Med-Surg and ER units as needed, showcasing adaptability and broad clinical skills
Collaborate with a supportive team while following AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics
Educate and support families through every stage of the childbirth journey

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin
Critical thinking and quality metric adherence
Flexibility to float across units
Effective communication and teamwork
