Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Days: Saturday and Sunday; Nights: Friday and Saturday) and holiday rotation shared with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching babies and transitioning newborns to ensure safe, healthy starts
Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips while monitoring patient response
Support high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use cases
Collaborate with 24/7 OB anesthesia, OBGYN hospitalists, and NNPs for seamless care
Function across Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby units with routine mom and baby competencies

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
No first-time travelers

Centricity perinatal EFM system
EPIC electronic medical records
