Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural hospital setting
Triage patients and serve as the baby catcher and transition nurse
Titrate Pitocin drips to support safe labor progression
Collaborate with the care team to ensure excellent outcomes for moms and babies
Support a close-knit unit where every role makes a meaningful impact

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications required
At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
Trained in LDRP and comfortable functioning as a baby catcher/transition nurse
Ability to work independently in a rural hospital environment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP and triage experience
Pitocin titration skills
AWHONN EFM certification
NRP and ALS certifications
Comfort working with limited resources and a small, dedicated team
