Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural community hospital
Triage patients and manage Pitocin drips with confidence and precision
Serve as both baby catcher and transition nurse during deliveries
Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to support moms through every stage of birth
Respond quickly and calmly to the unique needs of each family

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications required
At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
Comfortable functioning independently in LDRP, triage, and newborn transition roles

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in obstetric care
Experience with fetal monitoring and OBIX system
Ability to work confidently with limited resources in a rural setting
Team player who can also step up as charge nurse when needed
