Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced L&D unit
Circulate in the OR for C-sections and support high-risk obstetric patients
Perform thorough newborn assessments and deliver routine baby care with confidence
Float to Postpartum when needed to support both moms and infants through recovery
Titrate critical drips such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate while monitoring patient response
Collaborate with a dedicated team of OB/Neonatologists, CRNAs, and support staff around the clock

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Proven ability to circulate in the OR for obstetric procedures
Strong assessment skills for both laboring patients and newborns
Willingness to float to Postpartum and occasionally serve as a sitter

Knowledge & Skills

High-risk OB and routine obstetric care expertise
Comfortable with EFM monitoring and reading your own strips
Team player with a positive attitude and flexibility
Eager to learn and open to new challenges
