Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with rotating on-call and alternating weekend coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist Interventional Radiologists with imaging-guided invasive procedures that directly impact patient outcomes
Coordinate daily schedules with IR physicians to keep procedures running smoothly and on time
Collaborate with floor nurses and imaging techs to ensure seamless patient care across departments
Monitor and manage sedation for patients undergoing radiology procedures, keeping safety at the forefront
Place peripheral IVs and support a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions

Qualifications

Active California RN license
Current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
Preferred experience in Interventional Radiology
Comfort working with pediatric patients when needed

Knowledge & Skills

Interventional Radiology procedures including paras, thoras, biopsies, and drainages
Sedation monitoring and patient safety protocols
PIV placement and basic procedural support
Cerner EMR documentation
MRI Safe Pumps and EKG Monitors operation
