Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts with 10 days of call per six-week schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care for endoscopy and GI procedures
Prepare and recover Endo patients with compassion and attention to detail
Assist with ERCPs and occasional bronchoscopies while prioritizing patient safety
Collaborate with anesthesia and physicians to deliver seamless procedural support
Maintain strict compliance with facility policies including the no-artificial-nails rule

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Current driver's license required at submittal
Must live outside the 50-mile radius of CHI Health Good Samaritan
Comfortable working in Endo/GI and willing to tech only if competent
Able to pass a 90% open-book skills exam during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Endoscopy and GI procedure experience
Strong assessment and patient-prep skills
Ability to follow strict infection-control and fingernail policies
Excellent communication and teamwork
Flexibility to handle call and occasional rare procedures
