Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians
• Assess, plan, implement and document patient care with attention to age- and population-specific needs
• Provide high-quality patient assessment and treatment implementation to improve outcomes
• Serve as Lead RCP during your shift when a supervisor is not present, coordinating departmental activities
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation to support continuity of care
• Participate in competency testing and skills maintenance to ensure clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (required)
• PALS and ACLS certifications (required)
• DCI/BVP certification (required)
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam
• License/certificate verification (must be able to provide current credentials)
• Willingness to complete required health screenings and vaccinations (COVID-19, MMR, TB, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, drug screen, fit test)
• Ability to function as Lead/Charge RCP when assigned

Knowledge & Skills

• Respiratory care and pulmonary diagnostics expertise
• Strong patient assessment and care planning abilities
• Proficient in treatment implementation and clinical documentation
• Experience with fit testing and standard infection control practices
• Shift leadership and the ability to coordinate care during night shifts
• Comfortable with competency testing and maintaining clinical skill checklists
