Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide the highest degree of quality nursing care to patients in the Acute Care/Med-Surg unit
• Use specialized knowledge related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Care for patients with acute/chronic illnesses, post-surgical needs (ortho, hybrid cath lab), and observations
• Provide intermediate care in CCU as needed, requiring ACLS certification
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of RN Med-Surg, Acute Care, or Telemetry experience required
• Active RN License to work in Colorado
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) provider card
• Current ACLS (American Heart Association) provider card
• Flu vaccination mandatory (no declinations accepted during flu season)
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and call rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in nursing process and patient care
• Experience with Med-Surg, Acute Care, and Telemetry
• Competency in ACLS and BLS protocols
• Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
