Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams with care and attention to detail
Position patients and operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently
Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures clearly to reduce anxiety
Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation in PACS and EMR systems
Follow radiation safety protocols and uphold best practices in infection control
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely patient care
Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate maintenance needs promptly

Qualifications

Valid ARRT certification or equivalent radiologic technologist credential preferred
State licensure in Pennsylvania as required for practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Strong patient care skills with attention to safety and professionalism
Prior experience in diagnostic radiography or outpatient imaging preferred

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; ARRT certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with digital radiography equipment and image acquisition
Familiarity with PACS, DICOM, and common radiology workflows
Solid understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Good communication skills for interacting with patients and multidisciplinary teams
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment
