Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Take and accurately record vital signs and patient observations
Assist nursing staff with procedures and specimen collection per protocol
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
Support patient mobility, safety, and comfort throughout the shift
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high standards of care
Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current PCT certification or equivalent required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain upon hire
High school diploma or GED required
Prior experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred but not required
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Completion of an approved PCT program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of patient care fundamentals and infection control
Skilled in taking vital signs and performing basic clinical tasks
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and patient mobility
Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation preferred
Ability to follow protocols, prioritize tasks, and stay organized in a busy setting
Compassionate bedside manner and strong teamwork skills
