Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible 4-hour shifts (exact start/end times and days to be provided by scheduling team); orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support nurses and the multidisciplinary team with patient care tasks
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
Participate actively in orientation and ongoing training to keep skills sharp
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and coworkers

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
CNA certification or equivalent experience preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification required or must obtain during orientation
Prior experience as a PCT or CNA is a plus but motivated newcomers will be considered
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
Ability to work 4-hour shifts and attend mandatory orientation

Education

High school diploma or GED required
CNA or related clinical certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and monitoring (vital signs, ADLs)
Infection control and safety protocols
Comfortable with bedside assistance and mobility support
Accurate documentation and basic charting skills
Teamwork, time management, and patient-centered communication
