Shift Type: Variable per diem schedule, 4-hour shifts (times vary by assignment), not guaranteed; orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care to pediatric patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Support clinical team during procedures and routine care tasks
Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection-control protocols
Help create a calming, family-centered environment for children and caregivers

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; PCT/CNA certification preferred
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfort working with pediatric patients and families
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED required; PCT or CNA training preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with basic patient care procedures and safety standards
Comfortable with pediatric care considerations and age-appropriate communication
Able to follow care plans and report observations clearly
Good time management and ability to work in fast-paced clinical settings
Compassionate patient interaction and strong interpersonal skills
