Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside support and assist patients with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and communicate changes to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, promoting dignity and comfort
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient chart
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Support a collaborative care environment by communicating effectively with the care team

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
CNA or PCT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or obtain upon hire
Comfortable working short, focused 4-hour shifts and adapting to variable schedules
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED required
CNA or Patient Care Technician certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and bedside assistance
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Infection control principles and PPE use
Teamwork, time management, and clear communication
