Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and design individualized OT treatment plans
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living and work skills
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
Educate patients and families on strategies, adaptive equipment, and home programs
Document progress clearly and timely to support continuity of care
Participate in orientation and onboarding activities to ensure smooth integration

Qualifications

Licensed Occupational Therapist in California or eligible to obtain licensure
Current basic life support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
Clinical experience working with pediatric or outpatient populations is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player attitude
Reliable professional references and clean credentialing/background checks

Education

Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in related field + accredited OT certification (minimum)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assessing ADLs, IADLs, and functional mobility
Proficient with adaptive equipment recommendations and splinting techniques
Comfortable using electronic health records for documentation
Knowledgeable in evidence-based OT interventions and goal-setting
Ability to teach and motivate patients and caregivers effectively
