Roles & Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and prepare them for their visits with professionalism
• Measure and record vital signs accurately and document clinical information
• Assist clinical staff with procedures and maintain exam room readiness
• Administer routine clinical tasks under provider direction and follow protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
• Coordinate patient flow to keep clinics running smoothly and on time
• Support immunization, specimen collection, and basic diagnostic testing as directed
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to continuously improve patient care

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant diploma or certificate preferred; on-the-job training considered
• Certification such as CMA or RMA is a plus
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Basic clinical skills with accurate vitals and specimen collection experience
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
• Comfort working in a fast-paced outpatient setting and supporting a collaborative team

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certificate/diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of routine clinical procedures and patient triage basics
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems or willingness to learn
• Good organizational skills and attention to documentation detail
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Basic infection control and safety practices
