Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in line with facility policies
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Perform regular patient assessments and report changes to the care team
Assist with activities of daily living and support patient comfort and dignity
Collaborate with nurses, aides, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
Maintain accurate and timely charting in the electronic health record
Follow infection control practices and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current LPN license in good standing (state licensure required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Strong clinical judgment and reliable documentation skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or related setting preferred

Education

Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in medication administration and wound care basics
Comfortable performing patient assessments and vital signs monitoring
Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation
Knowledge of infection control standards and safety best practices
Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
