Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care to residents at Hopkins Center
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor and record vital signs and communicate changes promptly
- Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation in patient charts
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
- Support patient comfort and dignity through direct care and effective communication
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
- Comfortable with medication administration and clinical documentation
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on per-diem shifts
Education
- LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care and bedside skills with a focus on safety and comfort
- Medication administration and proper documentation practices
- Vital signs assessment and recognition of clinical changes
- Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
- Good communication skills with patients, families, and team members
