Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, competent nursing care to walk-in clinic patients within the scope of LPN licensure
Perform patient assessments and obtain vital signs to inform timely clinical decisions
Triage patient calls and determine appropriate next steps or escalation to providers
Manage medication refill requests and complete prior authorizations accurately and promptly
Serve as the primary liaison between patients, providers, and clinic staff to ensure continuity of care
Direct and supervise CNAs and coordinate with schedulers to maintain smooth clinic operations
Collaborate with RNs, providers, coordinators, and clinical managers to support patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current State LPN license
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Graduate of a Nursing Program
Ability to delegate and supervise CNAs and coordinate with clinic staff
Comfortable working within LPN scope and escalating to providers/RNs as needed

Education

Graduate of a Nursing Program (LPN program)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and clinical observation
Taking and interpreting vital signs
Triage and telephone triage skills
Medication refill processing and prior authorization workflow
Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
Basic life support and safe clinic practices
