Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations of all body parts for accurate interpretation
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment and assist with interventional procedures, including injector setup and contrast administration
• Maintain patient records, ensure radiation safety, and follow age-appropriate protocols
• Own and participate in departmental quality assurance and daily/weekly QC activities
• Assist with sterile technique and invasive procedures; provide support during procedures
• Provide patient transfers and high-quality patient care across the lifespan
• Support tele-radiology transmission and maintain equipment and supply inventories
• Rotate shifts, take assigned call, and assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of leadership

Qualifications

• Current ARRT in Radiography (required)
• Clinical competency to be achieved within 3 months of hire and maintained every three years
• Able to perform diagnostic exams related to assigned modality and willing to cross-train in XR, MRI, CT, Mammography as needed
• Experience or competency in CT and interventional procedures preferred
• Ability to work well under stress, communicate effectively, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and report promptly when needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of radiation protection and safety principles
• Competence in CT/Interventional procedures, automatic injector operation, and contrast contraindications
• Familiarity with tele-radiology, sterile technique, and venipuncture goals
• Quality assurance, equipment care, and record maintenance skills
• Ability to modify protocols for pediatric and geriatric patients and apply age-appropriate care
