Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility transfers safely and respectfully
Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team promptly
Take and document vital signs and other routine observations accurately
Document care delivered in charts and communicate clearly during shift handoffs
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or eligible to obtain) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Reliable transportation to the facility and dependable attendance

Education

High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation
Infection control and safe patient handling practices
Comfortable with electronic and/or paper charting systems
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
