Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting with dignity
Provide compassionate personal care and emotional support to residents
Accurately document resident care, observations, and any changes in condition
Support safe resident transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Communicate clearly with nursing staff, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Recent experience working in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting is a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills; a caring, patient-centered attitude
Basic ability to perform resident lifts/transfers and follow care plans
Current CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic resident care
Familiarity with infection control practices and safe handling techniques
Ability to take and record basic vital signs and observe resident status
Good documentation skills and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a care team
