Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding and mobility to keep patients comfortable
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Document care thoroughly and timely in the patient chart
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control standards
Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and the care team to support patient-centered care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Ability to provide patient transfers and assist with mobility safely
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of direct patient care and ADLs
Basic infection control practices and safety procedures
Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately
Basic charting and documentation skills
Teamwork, reliability, and strong observational skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
