Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nurse in charge
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Build rapport with patients and families to promote comfort and dignity

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (eligible to work in Pennsylvania preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Current immunizations as required by facility policy
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a team
Strong communication skills and attention to patient safety

Education

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
Basic charting and documentation practices
Comfortable taking vitals and observing changes in condition
Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Teamwork, communication, and a patient-centered mindset
Familiarity with long-term care or acute care workflows is a plus
