Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Support safe mobility and transfers while following facility protocols
Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate effectively with the care team
Help create a warm, home-like environment and engage residents in social activities

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (must meet state requirements)
Demonstrated patient care experience or completion of an accredited CNA program
Proof of required immunizations and TB screening as per facility policy
Comfortable with basic clinical duties and following care plans
Clear background check and ability to pass facility onboarding requirements
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living and basic patient care techniques
Ability to follow care plans, safety protocols, and infection control practices
Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
Good documentation skills and attention to detail
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and prioritize tasks
