Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist with safe transfers, mobility support, and personal hygiene needs
Monitor and document resident conditions, reporting changes to nursing staff
Support mealtime assistance and dietary needs as directed
Work closely with the care team to ensure each resident’s care plan is followed
Promote a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state-required credential) in good standing
Demonstrated ability to provide hands-on personal care with dignity and respect
Comfortable working as part of an interdisciplinary team
Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background checks, and health screenings
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and ADLs
Good communication and documentation skills
Infection control and basic safety practices
Ability to follow care plans and directions from licensed staff
Compassionate bedside manner and resident-centered approach
