Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Provide compassionate bedside care while preserving patient dignity
Help transfer and position patients safely using proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
Support infection control practices and keep patient areas clean
Collaborate with nurses and other team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification; Georgia certification preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Comfortable working with diverse patient populations
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass background checks and required facility screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and comfort measures
Taking and documenting vital signs
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Infection prevention and control practices
Clear communication and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Basic electronic charting or paper chart familiarity
