Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient goals

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania (required)
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
CPR/BLS certification (preferred or must obtain after hire depending on facility policy)
Ability to pass background and health screenings per facility requirements
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental patient care skills and familiarity with ADLs
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Basic infection control and safety practices
Comfortable working in fast-paced clinical settings
Professional communication and teamwork skills
