Roles & Responsibilities

Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the guidance of an OTR/L
Assist patients in regaining independence through therapeutic activities and exercises
Document patient progress and communicate with the care team
Adapt activities to meet individual patient needs and goals
Provide education to patients and families on home exercise programs

Qualifications

Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
Minimum 1 year of experience as a COTA
Montana state license or ability to obtain before start
Current BLS certification (preferred)
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Time management and organizational skills
