Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care: assist with bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe transfers, ambulation and fall-prevention measures for each patient
• Help with admissions, discharges and patient comfort to ensure smooth transitions
• Maintain a clean, organized patient environment and follow strict infection-control practices
• Accurately document patient care in the chart and communicate clearly with nurses and families
• Be a dependable, positive team member who contributes to excellent patient experiences

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
• Current CPR/BLS certification required or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass facility background checks and immunization requirements
• Dependable, team-oriented attitude with strong patient-centered focus
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Vital signs assessment and basic clinical observations
• Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families and clinical staff
• Accurate documentation and basic familiarity with electronic medical records
• Time management and teamwork in fast-paced clinical shifts
