Location: Gettysburg, PA
Contract Type: Per-Diem

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs and patient observations
- Support mobility, bathing, dressing and feeding while promoting dignity
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures
- Communicate changes in patient status to the nursing team promptly
- Document care thoroughly and accurately in patient records
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver consistent, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
- Prior experience in long-term care or similar setting preferred but not required
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check and any facility-required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient hygiene
- Skilled at taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
- Good documentation and basic charting skills
- Reliable time management and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate patient interaction and de-escalation skills
