Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, helping with daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility while preserving dignity
Monitor residents’ condition and promptly report any changes to nursing staff
Support safe and clean patient environments, following infection control practices
Collaborate with the care team to deliver individualized care plans
Accurately document care, observations, and vital information in resident records

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state certification required)
Valid CNA credential for Pennsylvania or ability to obtain before start
Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and safe patient handling
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Willingness to complete facility-required screenings and background checks
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of basic nursing care and resident assistance
Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
Ability to take and record vital signs and report concerns
Good time management and prioritization during busy shifts
Compassionate interpersonal skills and resident-focused care
