Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist on complex structural heart and cath lab procedures including TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman and complex PCI
• Maintain a sterile field and perform scrub procedures with precision and consistent sterile technique
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and telemetry accurately during procedures and report changes immediately
• Insert, manage and troubleshoot PA lines and assist with left and right heart catheterizations
• Participate in Impella, IABP and thrombectomy procedures when required
• Perform procedural setup, equipment management (including rotablator/atherectomy systems), and room turnover efficiently
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, document care in EPIC, and support patient flow including holding area responsibilities
• Respond to callback and weekend call duties professionally and support emergent procedural needs

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years cath lab/procedural experience (Structural Heart scrub experience is REQUIRED — do not submit without it)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Must have at least one: RCIS OR ARRT
• Proven experience scrubbing TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, Impella, IABP and peripheral or CTO procedures preferred
• Comfortable with PA line insertion/management and telemetry monitoring
• Able to work orientation with full availability (may start mid-week; missing orientation can delay start)
• Willingness to take part in on-call and weekend call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in scrub and monitor roles within the cardiac cath lab
• Strong telemetry interpretation and rhythm recognition skills
• Familiarity with EPIC charting and MAC Lab systems
• Solid procedural monitoring and sterile technique practices
• Experience with peripheral interventions, thrombectomy, rotablator/atherectomy equipment
• Comfort working in fast-paced procedural environments and supporting multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to float to EP on rare occasions and adapt to different procedural workflows
