Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8 and 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with 1-4 hour call after shifts weekly and weekend call every 5 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures
Assist surgeons during a wide range of cases including ortho, neuro, robotics, GYN, ENT, and eyes
Maintain sterile technique and support patient safety throughout every surgery
Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional care in high-volume suites
Handle specialized equipment such as the DaVinci robot, stealth navigation, and O-arm
Respond to emergency pediatric cases when needed and support trauma procedures

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
CST certification preferred but not required
Strong experience in ortho, neuro, and robotics procedures
Ability to scrub a variety of cases including GYN, ENT, eyes, and general surgery
Valid driver's license for radius verification at time of submittal
Must score 3's in all specialty areas to be considered

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in orthopedic procedures such as total joints, ORIFs, and scopes
Proficiency with neurosurgical cases including craniotomies, shunts, and EVDs
Robotics experience with the DaVinci system
Comfort working across multiple specialties including GYN, ENT, and eyes
Strong sterile technique and attention to detail in fast-paced environments
