Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Prepare patients and operating rooms for cases including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond quickly to any changes
Serve as a reliable resource during call shifts, providing critical support when needed most

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Proven experience in Trauma and Neuro cases
Charge nurse experience preferred
Epic EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing and sterile technique
Ability to handle high-volume case loads with precision and calm
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable with call requirements and quick 30-minute response time
Adaptable to floating within Zone 1 facilities when needed
