Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with evening, weekend, and holiday call required; 30-minute call response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure smooth, safe operations
Prepare operating rooms and equipment for cases including robotic and GI procedures
Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond quickly to any changes
Document care accurately using Epic EMR and support continuous quality improvement

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact license
BLS certification required
Previous OR nursing experience preferred
Robot and GI experience a plus
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Epic electronic medical record system
Robotic and laparoscopic surgical procedures
General, orthopedic, gynecologic, and podiatry cases
Call response within 30 minutes
Patient safety and sterile technique
