End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care across multiple surgical specialties including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, and general procedures
Collaborate with surgical teams using DaVinci robotics and advanced technology
Support patients through pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
Respond to ER trauma cases when floating requirements arise
Maintain flexibility to adapt to varied daily surgical schedules
Share knowledge and mentor colleagues to enhance team performance

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong experience in neurosurgery and all major surgical service lines
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
Ability to pass skills-based exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Valid driver's license for radius verification at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures across all service lines
Experience with DaVinci robotics and advanced surgical technologies
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to float to Pre/Post op, PACU, and ER trauma as needed
