End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM and end times between 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM; weekend coverage may be required with a compensatory day off during the week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy services across acute care units including med-surg, tele, ICU, and oncology
Deliver specialized care to ventilated patients and those recovering from cardiac surgeries
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Treat diverse patient populations with a focus on ortho and total joint recovery
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Experience with ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patients preferred
Cerner EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities
Experience across multiple acute care specialties
Comfort working with complex cardiac and ventilated patients
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt to varied patient needs and diagnoses
