Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including surgical, neuro, and telemetry patients
Interpret telemetry strips and document findings each shift
Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team
Support patients through respiratory needs using BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to broaden your experience
Deliver patient-centered care with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Some background with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA, and TIA
Cerner experience recommended

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry strip interpretation
General and orthopedic surgical patient care
CVA and TIA care
Cerner documentation system
Team collaboration and adaptability
