Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed PCU unit
Titrate cardiac and critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips for a diverse patient population
Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver excellent patient experiences
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care
Respond quickly when called in from on-call status within 30 minutes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Competency managing arterial lines
Strong telemetry and drip titration experience
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with 90% or higher
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Cardiac drip titration and management
Arterial line care and monitoring
Strong communication and adaptability
Team collaboration and patient advocacy
