Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, Vascular, and Procedure ultrasounds that directly impact patient care
Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to deliver accurate imaging results
Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety during every scan
Document studies thoroughly using Fuji EPIC and PACS systems
Support the department with 8-10+ scans daily while keeping quality top-notch

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification (General or OBGYN) required
BLS certification required
RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
Strong experience in General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound
Procedure experience is a must-have
Ability to work variable 10-hour shifts and take call

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Phillips ultrasound equipment
Comfortable using Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS
Skilled in General, OBGYN, Vascular, and Procedure imaging
Strong attention to detail and patient communication
