Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and telemetry patients on a 32-bed unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs using Phillips telemetry equipment
Administer chemotherapy treatments and manage complex medication regimens
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans
Float to other MedSurg/Telemetry units as needed while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and recovery expectations

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Chemo certification preferred
Minimum one year of recent acute care experience
Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
Comfortable with BiPAP and CPAP management
Excellent sterile technique and infection control practices
Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced oncology environment
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
