Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float across MedSurg Tele and PCU units providing compassionate, high-quality care
Manage and titrate critical drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to patient changes
Deliver excellent post-procedural and post-cardiac care to diverse patient populations
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient experiences

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience
Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills
Comfortable floating between multiple units and campuses

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac monitoring and strip interpretation
Experience with CPAP, BiPAP, and heated high-flow oxygen therapy
Ability to manage multiple titratable drips safely
Flexible and adaptable to changing unit assignments
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
