Location: Grand Island, Nebraska

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating and scrub support across all surgical service lines
Collaborate closely with surgeons and the OR team to deliver safe, high-quality care
Adapt quickly to a varied daily schedule while maintaining focus on patient safety
Share knowledge and mentor colleagues to strengthen the entire department
Float to Pre/Post op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed to support the broader care team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong experience in Neurosurgery and all major surgical service lines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment without specialized teams
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of Grand Island and not be employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with EPIC electronic medical record
Skilled in DaVinci robotic procedures
Knowledgeable across Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedic, GYN, and General Surgery cases
Flexible and team-oriented approach to daily assignments
Strong commitment to safety and continuous learning
